 The Dirty Rat - Manipulator [PBR] (with legacy version also) is a new release.  This close up version highlights the careful craftmanship; well we are not surprised by now.  It weighs in at 4 land impact. 

The two versions in the pack have quite different looks in the FS  PBR viewer.  I suspect it would be similar in other viewers.  I doubt many folks are still on a legacy viewer but for those who still have troubles viewing PBR might like to see an example.   PBR on the left - Legacy on the right.

Precision Specimen Holder & Examination Apparatus

This came out of the estate of Dr. Émile Fourcade, who spent thirty-odd years as conservator at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He had the thing built to spec an adjustable brass arm on three axes, magnification lens, directional lamp, all so he could turn fragile porcelain fragments without ever laying a finger on them.

Still mounted in the grip is a partial faience mask. Delftware, probably late 17th century, though nobody's been able to confirm that. The face is too deliberate for something purely decorative. What it was actually meant for is anyone's guess.
