I am a bit tardy telling you about this fun pose prop from WetCat. It burrowed WAY down in my objects folder and hid under some old newspapers. Well, "no" that's not the real story.

Anyway, much fun and a great item to add to your props collection. There is a couples version also! Find it at a brand new event, Epicene -- which Google tells me means, "having characteristics of both sexes or no characteristics of either sex; of indeterminate sex."   A new word for me. I love that!


The prop is eleven land impact and includes floating sheet music which is optional. And a couple of days after this shoot I found several objects named "headphones" in my Objects folder. I am pretty sure they came with the prop and likely with the pose above. That would have been super cute.  Note to Chic: "Pay attention!"

With such a wide variety of item available at Fantasy Faire it is pretty much impossible for bloggers (even the 50 or so official ones) to cover all you could see -- this assuming eating and sleeping was somewhere in the todo list.  In that vein I am going to show you my pick of the "hidden gems" that you might have missed on your travels.

I seem to pretty much love everything that comes out of Empyrean Forge Artisan Mesh, so it isn't surprising that this is towards the top of my very long list of items to look up at the Faire. The EF: Emmisary's Rook also comes for the gals, but I am always happy to drag Max out for quick breathing session for gals that like older guys.

Comfort Zones, most of us spend a fair amount of time in our own.  That is certainly true for me. But my time over at Fantasy Faire was both enjoyable and view expanding; I am ready for a bit more.


Builder Chic is over at SaNaRae this month.  An eclectic and niche builder I was perfectly willing to bridge out, but was assured that my regular styles were appreciated and that there was no need. Apparently a mix and mingling is going on and I can see that in some of the items for this round.

Long ago and far away in my early blogging days the Asian designers (primarily Japanese) were more integrated into western shopping. Beanie Canning's Beanie Loves Japan blog (2011) did much to bridge our worlds and I spent a fair amount of time watching lucky boards in picturesque sims.  I suggest that whatever your comfort zone, it is good to venture beyond it now and then.

The SaNaRae event includes both gachas and discounted items as well as exclusives and there many things that can be worked into your current wardrobes as well as collectibles and decor items.

There are many versions of mesh heads (sad, wink, smile etc.) as well as a skin hud which includes many makeups and two tones for Maitreya as well as legacy skins and Slink feet and hand appliers. The eyes are really outstanding and I am going to test them with my traditional Chic gal.

This is a small head meant for petite or at least thin bodies.

Darkness and light, mystery and merriment -- the Fairylands merge from one to another through gateways, paths and tunnels. You can walk all twelve sims if you so choose but flying is often the fastest way in a crowded area.


I should mention that while the sims are themed, the surroundings do not necessarily reflect the goods being offered, so don't pass by an area simply because the environment may not reflect your personal fantasy favorites. The DESIGNER you are looking for -- even if you don't know you are -- might be hiding somewhere you would never suspect.

My exploration outfit of the day is a unisex design (both male and female garments are included so girls you won't lose those curves and guys will still be manly.

Of the many breathtaking environments in Fantasy Faire, the Golden Delta is a favorite of many photographers. I am not sure if that is because we dream of being Egyptian queens or genies in a bottle *wink* or if we just enjoy the blowing sands and warm breezes from the ocean.  Whatever the reason, I concur that this is one of my favorite Fantasy Fair sims.

It is Monday eve as I type this. Almost quitting time after the busiest day I can remember in a long while.  Here's the story.

The sims opened a bit after 9 letting designers set up their stores. Even though my store is much smaller than those on other sims and even though I had everything all set out in "exactly the right size and layout" -- it took an hour before I could call myself free to explore the many gorgeous environments.

I made a quick round of the fourteen sims that form an "O".    There are some truly gorgeous builds at Fantasy Faire this year and I spent the next five hours or so filming before the crowds appeared and folks set up too many vendors (hence spoiling the naturalness of my shots :D). We can only derender so much!


I passed a good deal of time in the Golden Delta by Fallen Gods Inc., a long time Fantasy Faire supporter. The blowing sands and carved stone seemed to whisper. It was difficult to pull myself away.  Lots of impressive film is in the can as well as backed up. The voice-over has been waiting for some magical and picturesque spots and this is it.


My films story is romantic and magical. I had my second location, the impressive harbor town by The Looking Glass, Lucentia,  filmed for landscape and needed some attire to fit into the theme of the film.  The blogger gods were smiling on me when I returned home to open some of the bountiful blogger boxes that had been arriving the last hour or so.

It didn't take me long to find the gorgeous dress from Anouk Haiku of Les Encantades. This is not only a lovingly made with stunning textures, the Brenna Berry gown fits beautifully and moves effortlessly.

A perfect accessory is this Lannister Collar, a rare gacha prize, also from Les Encantades.

I have been SO busy, I forgot I needed a post for today. Never fear, there are many in the queue but Fantasy Faire bloggers (and those of us in there a little early) are not supposed to post our shots until the Fairylands open.

I am indeed enjoying the beauty I type -- relaxing in a lovely spot that I will show you later. Meanwhile I have mixed depth of field and graphics effects to make it almost impossible to guess where I am -- even if you have been there *wink*. I suspect that satisfies the rules.

This truly gorgeous necklace is one of my favorite pieces from the Faire. There are earrings also and a giant texture change hud. The !Musa! Seraph Pendant comes in both short and long lengths (short is shown) and in dark (shown) as well as silver.  Psst!  It is also animated :D.    Oh my!
