It Must Be Sunny Somewhere

Soooooooooo --

Tis raining where I live and the nights are getting mighty chilly.  

And I just bought a swimsuit.

Do I have exotic vacations plans?

Nope. 

The joke is on me and I am not the least bit upset. I didn't PLAN to buy a swimsuit rather than a parka but I decided smiling and making fun of myself was a good way to flow around the rocks.

The good news is that Carol's is giving away a 350 linden gift card. Group join is 10 lindens.   And there are tons  of great items to buy as well as a wall of past group gifts (walk straight back from the entrance).   

The other good news is that I did actually buy something this time and also found out I had another gift card I hadn't picked up.  

For those of you that venture over note that this vendor system if you are not used to it is --- well I was going to say torturous, then frustrating but I will choose "tricky" as the final adjective.  I read all the instructions like twice and I watched the video.  The steps on the wall took me in circles, the steps in the video were fine to a point but were incorrect at the end.  I never received a physical card and I never had a store credit according to the kiosk.  

So I decided to experiment to see if I could get anything to work.  I clicked on the first object I saw by the kiosk expecting it to ask me about buying.  That did not happen.  I just bought the item with my "non-existent" store credit.  The swimsuit fits like a dream and I like tan although it would look better on a woman of color ^^.   

So my REALLY BIG HINT is === claim your card. Find the product you want to buy and then buy it with your store credit.  While I in theory have 130 linden credit left the customer service kiosk still says I have no credit. 

  

WHEW.

I had issues with this same vendor system at another store and talked to the owner who wasn't happy with the system either but was living with it. 

Carol's items come in oh so many mesh fits so it is a great store for everyone and this is a very nice gift.  Just eat your sardines (for smartness) before you venture over.
