These days information is at our fingertips.  A few mouse clicks, a dozen or so keystrokes and we have our answers. Well maybe not. There is plenty of MISinformation out there too. Still, the process of finding clues is fairly simple.  

It wasn't always this easy.  Eighty years ago or so there was the telephone and shoe leather. Our information -- still sometimes questionable -- came from direct sources. Friends, interviews and even rumors leading to the truth -- or at least the truth as we perceived it.
