New Library Additions - Some Thoughts and Wardrobe Finds

Now that the new body - head - skin and clothing additions seem to be in everyone's (most?) inventory I decided to take a look.

Since my gals pretty much all have Maitreya and since they seldom see the light of day in 2025 I decided to look at an old male in my inventory.

While there seem to be some issues with some of the skins (according to forum posts), the dark one included in the new folk's release was excellent - extremely high quality. Really lovely.   The body was good and most sliders did their readjusting thing.

The different shapes were kind of odd as they were so very much the same - head wise anyway.  And I wasn't all that impressed with clothes and hair. Eyes were 2007 variety and the male hair was iffy for me.  The AO is pretty awful and could certainly be replaced -- hopefully in the future.  The only real problem that I found not having a hud is that the hands are quite bizarre in their default animation. Luckily I had an old altamura hand hud that solved any problems.

So this is what I came up with.  The Legacy clothing for guys that I had on hand worked well (a big plus). I used old no.match hair, some ancient but still better than many Mayfly eyes and he looks damn good.

So for any friends or alts in need of a makeover it is well worth taking the time to sift through the new offerings.

Oddly double click to remove didn't work for me. I had to find the garment in the worn tab and then right click and REMOVE. There was also a constant stutter when trying to do much.  Not sure what that was about but hopefully it will get fixed along the way.

Note there is a whole forum thread of folks complaining --- but it is a FREE BODY HEAD AND SKIN after all.   Way better than what has come before.

BRON is giving away a 400 credit to group members (30 fee to join) and features Legacy. You will need alphas but these are very well made garments so worth a little effort. These shorts were purchased with the credit and the shirt was one of two past Halloween gifts. There are both casual and dressy items.  HURRY as this is over tomorrow.

I suspect that smart retailers will start adding alpha textures in their garment packs but until then you will need to make or find (especially if you don't throw anything out) alphas that will work. Altamura had a big pack of various alphas that went with their BOM bodies a few years ago.  Might be good to see if those are around still.
