Summer Waves

I love the warm days of summer, breezes on the deck, plants turning their leaves and petals to the sun.  Virtual summer?  Not so much LOL.  July and August are pretty dull with most folks enjoying REAL summer. This is a GOOD thing, don't get me wrong.

We are beginning to move into that slow time -- and honestly things have been less than brisk of late for lots of people -- especially creators and private land folks.

There is a LOT of land out there for sale and for rent. The more Belli grows the more the mainland suffers.  That teeter totter is moving toward the breaking point.  You know the drill most likely from your childhood. Your friends who weren't actually your friends of course invite you to teeter totter with them.  You are bigger than they are so two get on  the other side or scoot up some on the fulcrum. Then ---  they jump off.  Not fun.

While the SL roadmap appears to be moving and shifting I suspect that eventually The Lab will take note and perhaps there will be "balancing" again. We have seen it in the past and I hope we see it again.

Which brings me to a morning awhile back (likely a week by the time this posts) when I was skimming through the forums and saw a four time protected beach lot with double prims from my favorite landlord.   I zipped over and grabbed it.

Did I need more space, more prims, more living spots?  Nope.  But I DID want to be supportive and help the economy some.  And renting a bunch of places from the same group keeps things simpler too.

Scrolling through my Trompe Loeil tagged post (definitely the easiest way to find something that would fit on the long and skinny 32 x56 beach lot uncovered this lovely southwest styled abode.  Now there are no beaches in the Southwest US but there certainly are beaches like this in Mexico.  So I plan to spend some time here remembering my days at beaches much like this.
