Nymphs - Valentines Shop and Hop 3028
An absence of red -- or even charcoal but indeed this is a Valentine's post. Shop and Hop is open for perusing, shopping and gathering. You can find the official post with links to the stores at the bottom of this official post.
There is a bit of irony in the backstory of this entry but I won't go into that. It did make me chuckle however. An article featuring RED will appear later in the week and there were a couple of stores with missing gifts that I plan to return to.
While I am still a proponent of Shop and Hop -- it is and has been mostly because it lets the new creators get a chance at "the event experience". And indeed there were a lot of brands (it seemed) included for the first time. That is a good thing in my book. A lot of folks we typically expect to see were missing. I am GUESSING that the long time brands still applying are mostly there to be supportive and hats off to them.
There are gift cards to collect of course and one that I will go back and hope to get as the gift giver didn't deliver the first time and I have always liked that store.
Meanwhile these are my favorite items from my wanderings. YOURS of course could certainly be different so if you have the time and energy head on over for many hours of strolling.

As a little bit of personal truth and some "anecdotal evidence":
A bit of math tells me that my last Shop and Hop earnings (winter 2024) were less than 8 percent of my highest Shop and Hop earnings and less than 20 percent of an average S&H round. That's not 8 percent less that is 8 linden dollars on 100 or 93 percent LESS. Not much of a profit.
And judging from the creator friends that I share ups and downs with -- that is a fairly typical change for them also. I did do the supportive thing for a few rounds as I watched the numbers fall but then decided that it was just as well to give the new kids on the block a better chance at an adventure :D.
