Originals Preview
I've just returned from my walking tour of the I <3 Originals Fair. Don't click that link yet; the fair isn't officially open until the 8th. One of the best perks of a blogger's job is early (read lag free) entrance into fairs and exhibits. I was happy to walk the quiet avenues and peruse the shops at leisure. I ran into at least one fellow blogger that I knew, which was fun. Here is my personal report on the fair sponsored by Artist's Voice.
Style notes at the bottom of the post.

The fair features all kinds of shops from clothing, hair and accessories to furniture and poses. There are old favorites as well as smaller, newer shops and happily for me -- a collection of places I had never visited. My personal favorite shop (OHTHECOLOR) is Dacob Paine Studios (LM to main store here). I just love the art and the hues -- and that purple couch; so bold!
The spaces came in differing prim allotments if I remember correctly and many of the shops have prims to spare for decorating. It was lots of fun to see how some designers spent their prims. There are swank shops, and kookie shops. Quite a few offer gifts and dollarbies for visitors. Some had out special blogger gifts or welcome posters (thank you). The shops themselves are low prim but interesting and the uniformity helps with the rezzing. One reason that I took the brightly hued photo of the gallery was to show you the stairs. These are two story buildings, so be sure and walk up or cam those upper floors. Not all shops use the second floor, but many do.
Style notes:
I started my journey in my day off outfit which you have seen fairly often. After picking up gifts, I tried on a few things that were in folders. Drum roll please?
My outfit in the top photo is the Vera Dress from -Glam Affair-. From the title of the folder this appears to be a gift for all. I LOVE IT! So if it looks like you, be sure and stop by the shop. The store is filled with luscious things, so it won't be painful except perhaps on your pocketbook *wink*. The top could be worn with plain pants or even fishnets if you are a brave gal. Layers are included as well as undies. I love the lacy leggings though. These are sure to be an often used item in my wardrobe.
The Vera outfit comes with big black beads, but I felt that was a bit too much black even for me :D. I added a lovely texture change Karen necklace (review copy) from *KessKreations*, also in the fair. Earrings come with the set. Pearls, gems and metal are all color change.
Boots by BAX, hair by Tiny Bird, Skin by Tuli and poses by LAP and PhotoGraphique. I bet you knew that.
