Not A Secret
Giving credit where credit is due is a good thing. I vote we work on that.
Feel free to join in.

I agree and already implemented on my blog a few weeks ago (Mar 28).
I know my blog is not big or well known, but that's exactly why I want the credit, to be able to reach more people.
I'm always giving credit back where it's due, so I find it fair to have the same treatment.
That is of course fine, now and then and with good intent. But when someone ferrets out a great designer or freebie that is then featured on a blog the next day (when there was no group notice etc. going out) and the person who originally "found" it is not given credit, it gets a bit old.
This has always been happening of course, but it seems to be escalating now. On the plus side I have noted that some of the "previous" offenders are now giving credit to where they found the info.
When I originally wrote this, I simply thought that it would be better for us to work TOGETHER than all the clandestine "stealing" that often goes on.
I'm guessing it hasn't happened to you as your post are often thematic and not "go to get this" posts :D -- something I enjoy! Yeah.
Hope that helps clarify. If you missed all the drama? That's a good thing.
