Shoe Fair Retro Style
If you were avoiding the crowds at the opening of the Shoe Fair, now is a perfect time to venture over. While shoppers are still in evidence, lag has magically disappeared. Walking was a pleasure and peaking in the stores much fun. A-Bomb had several new releases for the fair; I showed you one of my favorites a few days ago. For those of you in the retro camp -- and I am a member of that club -- there are some slightly wild and oh so much fun zebra slingbacks called Katy. This have color change back straps and soles. With lots of bright colors as well as white and black, you can be as bold as you like or stay on the more sedate side of the equation. Shoes come in both viewer 1 and viewer 2 versions.
I had outfits to pair with these retro gems, but I was patiently waiting for something new AND fitting to appear. Happily, Ibizzare has a just out tunic mini that fits the bill perfectly. It comes accented in a variety of 70s colors. I chose kiwi. A young and carefree style, it can be worn as a dress or a top. I took it to a dance party at the beach and felt perfectly attired.
It is heart warming when you can go shopping and help someone in the process. Donation item vendors abound and you will likely find more than one style that you simply can't resist. Proceeds go to Soles4Souls, a shoe charity.
Keep up to date with fair news at the official blog.
The fair ends the 27th. So what are you waiting for?
