Collada Format Moves to Legacy Status

Rumble Rumble -- Brave New World 

Along with the change to PBR it looks likely that the upload file format will be changing in the future.  WHEN is in question as well as if we will be able to ALSO upload existing files as collada.  We used fbx in SANSAR but there is no real reason to believe that will be the new (just guessing here) file format of the future. 

Of course the most important thing to remember is SAVE YOUR ACTIVE FILES. 

 I read on the forums that someone deleted a bunch of their Substance Painter files to save disk space and now is so so sorry they did. 

There are likely other changes in the pipeline that will impact creators. Rumors abound but I have no inside track in order to sift through them for veracity. 

So just be prepared for newness.
