PBR One Year Later
It has been over a year now since PBR hit the grid and nine months or so since Firestorm joined the party making it an option for all those folks who won't use the Linden viewer.
While I am still not a fan of the process, I am getting very accustomed to the viewer since I installed the OS version of Firestorm in order to work in Kitely.
This photo was actually taken in Kitely where I have lots more room but it would look the same here. WITH THE RIGHT LIGHTING it can be scrumptious (that seemed to most fitting word for me at the moment). There are still a few odd issues like some rooms (not all) being light inside where there are no lights and that blue cast (sky reflection I think) that shows up now and then. That might be "me" or it may just be something that needs working out.
Hopefully the folks that can't deal with a current PBR viewer will be able to use the web-based viewer when it gets more mainstream. Hopefully our current viewers won't go away for awhile. I am typing this before the event with Philip and of course we have seen plans change often so what is said (was said last Friday) may not be what happens.
Just took this screenshot Thursday morning last and was amazed at the depth of color and tone. I did make my own EEP setting :D.
