Bringing you the best of Second Life since 2008.

A New Look and Some History

I woke up VERY early Monday morning to a discovery!

While many people seem to believe there is almost no one minding the grid (that support thing) at least some folk have been busily at work.

This is the sandbox at Plum, my goto sandbox for almost two decades.  It is both historical and quiet and since pretty much no one is actually building these days I am willing to share my "secret" place with those that do.

One of the Moles has been working hard and there is a new an much more interesting landscape at PLUM.  Rivers run through the region in shallow canyons and it is quite lovely -- not so good for building on the ground but again -- not much traffic there these days.

Along with the hills and dales and water features it seems like the historic thank you memorial looks better. It has been there all alone but even the trees look better than I remember them.  Then again my memory could simply be faulty.

This memorial is in remembrance of the first settlers and citizens of Second Life who most likely lived through the beta testing days.

I was at PLUM on Sunday so this is a new happening and already shows up on the map :D.  So if you need a place to rez something for a photo, now you know where.
