Desert Drama

I rarely take night photos and indeed this is twilight at best, but the shadows added to the mystery of this walled dwelling and so I took my camera and explored as the sun dipped below the horizon.  

There is something about living in a high walled sheltered home.  I had one for a few years long ago. You could shut out the world beyond the walls. Even if your neighbors were close by the solidity offered protection and sometimes let you forget ...

This is a build for those who want to be "outside" but not "in the open".  A bridge spans the very large  and lighted water area leading to an equally large louver covered patio.  One giant windowed room and one smaller private area form the more traditional parts of the home.
