Yes maybe that should be an actual word LOL.

August is traditionally the slowest month in SL.  After school starts in the US (maybe most places - not sure) a semblance of "normalcy" returns. 

Now signs in the sky have been around forever.  They are according to a snippet from the TOS in the forums against the rules.   Normally that isn't such a big deal but this is pretty  ridiculous.  

It seems unlikely LL will FIX the problem but I just thought of a pretty easy solution -- or at least a deterrent.  It looks like most of these ads are from one or two people.  So ----

Go find the pad in the sky and take note of the texture UUID.  Delete it from the server.  You will still end up with a gray pad but sending a nasty message to the creator might help with that also.   It does seem like they are definitely against the rules. 

Anyway, a thought. 

Personally I think anyone OWNING their own region should be able to do the signage, but mainland?  Not so much.
