First Hints of Autumn

There is a crispness in the air for some of us -- summer's end.   Falling leaves, the first whiffs of wood smoke, apples on the ground awaiting  a wandering deer procession.  

Fall is my favorite season; warm colors and soft shadows -- the bridge between blazing sun and winter snows.
