In the Shadows of 9-11 updated

Climbing the Stairs - Sept 11, 2011

Yesterday was 9-11.

Did you notice?

Did you remember?

Pear Harbor, Kennedy's assassination, the Twin Towers Falling ---

minutes that defined a generation;   events that changed our world.

For many years there were remembrances of the event. Memorials, interactive builds to mark the day and call for reflection.  I saw no announcements this year -- nothing on the Destination Guide; no results in search.

Did "I" remember?  Nope. Not until I received an email and opened this article.

I don't venture over into "real" often and I am not by nature a political person.  This isn't about policies or presidents; it IS about thinking for yourself

We cannot change the past but we can change how we react to the future.

PS.  Many of you know that I was a professional astrologer for many years, but this is not really about planets and charts; feel free to skip that discussion -- it is only a small part of the message.

PS.  In response to what I believe was the first hate mail I received on this blog -- the person reading this post pretty much missed the whole point . They of course "will never read my blog again" and that is certainly their right. We ALL have  an option to believe what we choose to believe. I firmly support that.

Long long ago and far far away I was at the top of the web design food chain.  I got SO MUCH hate male over things that had absolutely nothing to do with me so the Friday's message was nothing that disturbed me much.   There is also a many paged rant from a well known but not liked much  SL citizen that is way beyond viscous as well as totally incorrect -- all about me as Chic.  I only read the very beginning and then stopped.  There is enough hate in the world.  I blocked that person long ago on the forums and my life has been much happier.

Find your tribe --- whatever that tribe may be.  Support THEM rather than tearing down others.
