Updating Your Outfits Folders

I know most folks Hate (yes a capital "H") sorting their inventory.   These days I don't buy much and I try and sort things at least once a month.  I don't tackle my outfits folder all that often as I changing bodies and heads and even makeup isn't an everyday occurrence for me.

A few favored outfits that are ONY Lara are still in my inventory and available via the outfit gallery tab -- easy to find in a flash.  Others have the option of being updated and as Fall is on my mind these days I decided to change clothing (OMG) and switch to my "art gallery opening" attire from a couple of years back.

Now this would have been a fairly simple process if all went smoothly.  Finding the outfit listing and expanding the tab was a first step. Oh no -- first step was getting fairly naked and ready to don new clothing.  Adding jacket, top, leggings boots and necklace I was attired.  A hair switch had avatar matching picture --- ALMOST.   There was NO belt in my outfit folder. Hmmm.

Deciding that was a good start saving the progress was optimum of course === and adding the thumbnail.  But wait. While the thumbnail was showing in the gallery, it wasn't appearing in inventory.  Now there are several ways to fix this -- taking a new gallery shot would be one.  But if you look at the icons under the thumbnail (available by right clicking on the thumbnail in the gallery and choosing IMAGE) you can see that you can copy and paste from the clipboard.

So much easier.    My missing belt -- no longer in the outfit links WAS actually in my inventory and so I slipped it on and resaved the complete look.

Things DO disappear in our inventories, most of us have had that issue a few times --- or more :D.  But sometimes it is simply a bit of relinking that is needed, at least in the case of outfits.
