Bake Me a Cake
Another fun sneak peak at upcoming ARCADE offerings. This time from Second Spaces.
Not a lot of us bake this way any longer. Stopping by the pastry section at the market is easier than digging out the bowls and pans and spoons and measuring cups. And, for many of us sugar is simply not on our healthy foods list.
Still, there is a nostalgia factor and memories can be powerful things. This set brought me back to a time many decades ago when my mother had taken a cake decorating class. We sat at our now very retro kitchen table, each working on making a rose. They were pink of course. Sugar and butter artfully become a flower perched atop a wax papered cork that we twirled not so elegantly on it large galvanized nail.
You can bring bake the memories or make some new ones with this detailed set. It coordinates nicely with other Second Spaces kitchen props.
From Fame Femme at Lost and Found a big collection of shorts and tops. Beautiful and realistic texturing adds to the "real" factor and I am a big fan of corporeal reality wandering into our virtual lives.
There is also a warm sweater with hands in pocket for those not quite warm enough mornings and evenings.
