Patch Exits
A little over two years since the lengthy ageplay scandal and closely following changes in the TOS regarding child avatars Patch Linden is leaving the building due to a reported "reorganization".
We of course don't know the whole story --- only a few bits actually but it is interesting that the folks on the forums seem to have forgotten the mess of the past. Most of the info on that slice of SL history was taken down but search seems to have some the details still.
Linden Lab in general lost a lot of credibility with me in the handling of the widely publicized and then disappearing conversations.
The long documentation is of course still out there and on backups and "in the cloud" as almost nothing ever truly disappears in our current information is everything culture.
